James has for the past 6 years been operating as the Chief Operation Officer for several companies that provide 24/7 medical home visit assistance with Doctors, Nurse, Mental Nurses and Telehealth.
Prior to this James was for 10 years in a senior management position working on construction projects Hospitals: Mater – New Children’s Hospital; Nambour: Refurbishment; RBA: Herston MRI Imaging; University Queensland: Oral Health Facility; Sunshine Coast (private and public); Townsville Hospital. This involved developing a company structure, setting up company policies and managing multiple disciplines. Liaising with groups associated with MRI & Emergency Department; Oncology, Radiology Medical Facilities and Community Health Centre – Blood Bank; Sexual & Oral Health. Working internationally and nationally.
These were multi million dollar projects overseeing daily running of various projects; supervision of labour and material procurement; Financial monitoring; Administration and quality control and strong commitment to compliance & OH&S.
However James has strong roots in a generational family business and was the Managing Director for 25yrs – 24/7 operations, excess 100 staff and contractors – Melbourne, Victoria. During that time James managed a diverse and multidisciplinary position, with a high client service emphasis, where the primary objective was to manage, improve and continue the expansion of large scale projects portfolio, design and deliver the company’s directional strategy and lead major local and international projects.
