How do I enable the ResAppDx Respiratory cough test?
The ResAppDx respiratory cough test is integrated into the latest version of the Phenix app (iOS).
Patients that are using the Phenix app and indicate that they are experiencing respiratory related symptoms at the time of booking, will be guided to pay and complete the test before the appointment.

Disclaimer: Only indicated for use on patients aged 29 days and older. The result of the test should not be used as a sole diagnosis. The result should be used as part of an overall clinical assessment of the patient. Please refer to the Instructions for use for information on interpreting the results and the clinical performance of ResAppDx.
At this point in time, the patient will need to make a new booking to take the cough test. There is a charge to the patient per cough test.

The process has been optimised so that the user can perform the test before the telehealth consultation and the results are ready for you at the time of the appointment. This will allow more time spent with your patient discussing the results and treatment advice.
