How the ResAppDx Respiratory cough test works for your patients
Symptom Check
Patients are asked if they are experiencing fever, coughing, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, runny nose, or sore throat.
Perform Remote Respiratory Cough Test
Patients take the test using Phenix App to capture five coughs. Their coughs are instantly analysed.
Join the Call
Patients will then speak with their doctor to discuss the test results.
ResAppDx integration into the Phenix app allows your clinic to offer a cough test for patients who are experiencing respiratory symptoms as part of the pre-consultation workflow. Test results are then available within your telehealth session directly in the Phenix app.

How it Works
Patients will be asked to confirm whether they have respiratory-related symptoms at the time of booking. If a patient does not have respiratory-related symptoms, their appointment will proceed as normal.
Patients who are experiencing respiratory-related symptoms will be requested to conduct a remote cough test*. The Phenix app will guide the patient through the process of payment and remind the patient to take the test prior to the call.
Patients complete the cough test by providing their date of birth, medical history, symptoms, and capturing five coughs. Their coughs are instantly analysed by the app, and the results are available within the Phenix app.
During the consultation, the patient’s results are available to you via the ‘My Consults’ and ‘My Results’ screen. You can view the ResAppDx Analysis Report which includes the Instructions for Use.

Terms of Use/Guidelines
The add-on is designed to provide test results to be used by clinicians to remotely assess patents aged 29 days or older immediately preceding or during a video consultation using the Phenix app.
The test results should be used as part of an overall clinical assessment in the face of other evidence related to the patient.
A test result indication should be weighed against the clinical signs and indications from the patient, and possibly other test results also, as well as the clinical experience and judgement of the diagnosing clinician.
